Ripple has announced a new service aimed at finance companies and allowing them to offer trading of cryptocurrency to customers. On November 9, the company shared the news release announcing Liquidity Hub. Liquidity Hub will initially support Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Ethereum Classic, Bitcoin Cash and XRP, with availability varying by geographic location, according to the announcement. The company plans to expand this crypto asset offering and include other tokens, including NFTs, in the future.
Launching as early as 2022
The new service is aimed at its business customers and will give them access to cryptocurrencies from a range of providers, including exchanges, market makers and over-the-counter (OTC) trading desks. Most likely, Liquidity Hub will be launched in 2022.
